    �esk� elektroakustick� hudba 2

Druh� kompaktn� disk s �eskou elektroakustickou hudbou, kter� vyd�v� Spole�nost pro elektroakustickou hudbu, je v�novan� pam�tce Karla Odstr�ila, kter� se vrcholnou m�rou zaslou�il o organizaci a propagaci elektroakustick� hudebn� tvorby u n�s po roce 1989. P�edev��m jeho z�sluhou vydala SEAH prvn� CD s �eskou elektroakustickou hudbou. Ing. Karel Odstr�il se ji� vyd�n� tohoto kompaktn�ho disku nedo�il. N�hle skonal dne 21. kv�tna 1997. Skladba P�t etap je jeho posledn�m dokon�en�m a realizovan�m elektroakustick�m hudebn�m d�lem.

St�ejn�m zdrojem systematick�ch informac� o �esk� elektroakustick� hudb� je osobn� slovn�k Miroslava Kaducha "�esk� a slovensk� elektroakustick� hudba 1964 - 1994", jeho� druh� roz���en� a dopln�n� vyd�n� vy�lo v Ostrav� v roce 1996.

V�echny skladby na tomto kompaktn�m disku byly realizov�ny v 90. letech ve studi�ch �esk�ho rozhlasu v Praze s v�jimkou skladby Pavla Kopeck�ho, kter� vznikla v Elektroakustick�m studiu Filmov� fakulty Akademie m�zick�ch um�n�.
 

    1 Karel Odstr�il P�t etap
Skladba P�t etap pro tromb�n a magnetofonov� p�s je rozd�lena na p�t ��st� - etap s n�zvy: Obrovsk� nad�en�, Obrovsk� bordel, Hled�n� vin�k�, Potrest�n� nevinn�ch a Odm�n�n� nez��astn�n�ch. N�zvy jednotliv�ch etap jsou p�i koncertn�m proveden� nahla�ov�ny �esky a rusky. Autor s humornou nads�zkou dod�v�: "Rusky proto, aby n�kte�� cizinci, p�i�ed�� na koncert, dob�e rozum�li." Skladba byla realizov�na v roce 1996. Na tromb�n hraje Radomil Hertl.

    2 Rudolf R��i�ka Aves
Skladba Aves (Pt�ci) vznikla na z�klad� vyu�it� p��rodn�ch zvuk� p�vodn�ho pta��ho zp�vu. K samplov�n� a n�sleduj�c�m �prav�m vybral autor zp�v r�zn�ch druh� p�nice, zejm�na p�nice vla�sk� (Sylvia nisoria), kter� je charakterizov�n �ast�mi ostr�mi vr�iv�mi zvuky. Kone�n� stereofonn� verze d�la byla vytvo�ena koncem roku 1994 s vyu�it�m mo�nost� melodick�ch, harmonick�ch a rytmick�ch obm�n skladatelova po��ta�ov�ho kompozi�n�ho programu CCOMP.

    3 Radek Rej�ek Carmen campanarum
P�i realizaci elektroakustick� fantazie Carmen Campanarum vytvo�en� ze zvuku zvon� a vok�l� vyu�il autor zejm�na zvuku hodinov�ho stroje pra�sk� Lorety, kter� symbolizuje plynut� �asu. R�zn� podoby v�roku "Deo gratias" prostupuj� celou skladbu v nejr�zn�j��ch odvozen�ch podob�ch stejn� jako zvuk hodin. "Hlas zvonu jako symbol je ur�en k oslav� Boha a je chvalozp�vem a pod�kov�n�m za ve�kerou na�i zdej�� existenci" ��k� autor. Skladba z�skala druhou cenu v presti�n� mezin�rodn� kompozi�n� sout�i elektroakustick� hudby "MUSICA NOVA" v roce 1992 .

    4 Marta Jir��kov� Bl�zniv� rej
T�et� ��st z �estid�ln�ho elektroakustick�ho baletu Lo� bl�zn� z roku 1991, inspirovan�ho stejnojmenn�m obrazem Hieronyma Bosche, l��� nesourod� vztahy na lodi. Mu�sk� sm�ch a vzlykot se m�s� s �ensk�m sm�chem, kter� st��dav� p�ech�z� v pl��, jak to b�v� u lid� s naru�enou du�evn� rovnov�hou, postavy se zmno�uj�, rovn� tak hudebn� materi�l. Rytmus tance se zrychluje a zhu��uje v n�kolika etap�ch a� do z�v�ru, kter� vrchol� bl�znivou tane�n� ext�z�. Zp�v a hlasov� objekty ztv�rnili Marta Kr�sov� a Michal Pavlata, na syntetiz�ry hraje Marta Jir��kov�.

    5 Miroslav Pudl�k Dejte mi pevn� bod
D�vodem k vytvo�en� elektroakustick� skladby Dejte mi pevn� bod byl dlouholet� autor�v sen o prozkoum�n� "nestabiln�ho" hudebn�ho prostoru, kde v�echny t�ny neust�le pomalu glissandovit� klesaj�, ale jejich vz�jemn� harmonick� pom�ry a melodick� d�n� p�itom nejsou naru�eny. P�vodn� autorova p�edstava byla tato: "Na horn�m prahu sly�itelnosti se nen�padn� objevuj� st�le nov� zvuky a zapojuj� se do pomalu klesaj�c� harmonie, jin� zat�m postupn� miz� v nejhlub��ch poloh�ch a tak st�le dokola; m�lo by to trochu p�sobit z�vra�, podobn� jako planet�rium." Skladba byla dokon�ena v roce 1992.

    6 Michal Ko�ut Kometa
Ve skladb� Kometa osciluj� v�razov� prost�edky hlasu mezi sprechgesangem a zp�vem, hlas je z�rove� nepatrn� technicky upravov�n. Doprovodn� slo�ka je vytvo�ena v�hradn� pomoc� syntetiz�r� a slou�� k dokreslen� atmosf�ry textu Josefa Soukopa. Realizace skladby se uskute�nila v roce 1994 za interpreta�n� spolupr�ce sopranistky M�rie Vaniakov�.

    7 Pavel Kopeck� Z�ti�� s pierotem
Na p�dorysu tradi�n� dramatick� formov� v�stavby charakterizoval skladatel zn�mou postavu pierota v kompozici Z�ti�� s pierotem pro klav�r s doprovodem elektroakustick�ch zvuk�. Skladba je t��v�t�, komorn�ho typu s dominantn�m postaven�m s�lov�ho kl�vesov�ho n�stroje. D�lo vzniklo v roce 1993. Na klav�r hraje V�ra Kopeck�.


      Czech Electroacoustic Music 2

The second CD of Czech electroacoustic music which was produced by the Czech Republic's Society for Electroacoustic Music (SEAH), and is dedicated to the memory of Karel Odstr�il, the leading proponent of the organization and dissemination of electroacoustic music in the Czech Republic after 1990. Due to his ambition SEAH produced its first CD of Czech electroacoustic music.
Unfortunately, Karel Odstr�il did not live to see this CD's production for regretfully passed away on 21 May 1997. Thus, in memory of Karel Odstr�il, SEAH is including his last completed electroacoustic composition.

All this CD's compositions were produced in the studios of the Czech Radio in Prague, except for Pavel Kopeck�'s piece, which was produced at the Electroacoustic Studio at the Academy of Performing Arts, Film Faculty.

    1 Karel Odstr�il P�t etap (Five Stages)
P�t etap for trombone and magnetic tape is in five movements: Huge Enthusiasm, Huge Mess, Search of the Guilty, Punishment of the Innocent, and the Reward of the Non-Participants. Titles of the movements are reproduced during the concert both in Czech and Russian. Odstr�il adds humorously: "It is in Russian so that some foreigners, attending the concert, "understand" well." P�t etap was realized in 1996. Radomil Hertl performs the trombone.

    2 Rudolf R��i�ka Aves
The composition Aves (Birds) arose on the basis of natural sounds of birds. The singing of various species of the Sylvia bird (especially of the Sylvia nisoria), distinguished by the repeated sharp and snarl sounds, was chosen for the sampling and subsequent use of the bird's sounds. "Aves" was realized during the end of 1994 with the help of the utilization of the musical computer program CCOMP, primarily due to its possibilities of melodic, harmonic and rhythmic modifications.

    3 Radek Rej�ek Carmen campanarum
Making use of bell and vocal sounds, Rej�ek worked with sounds of Prague church, Loreta's bells and clock, which represent the passing of time. Various forms of the liturgical text "Deo gratias" appear in the composition just like the bell sounds. The sound of the bell is a symbol of God, and is a song of praise and thanks for our present existence. It received second prize in the international electroacoustic music competition, MUSICA NOVA, in 1992.

    4 Marta Jir��kov�Bl�zniv� rej (Crazy Dance)
Bl�zniv� rej, the third movement of the six-movement electroacoustic ballet, Lo� bl�zn� (Ship of Fools), inspired by the painting with the identical name by Hieronym Bosch, resolves opposite human relationships on a boat. Man's laughter and gasp are mixed with woman's laughter which changes with sobbing, as it is in people with a spiritual imbalance. The number of voices becomes multiplied just as the musical material. The dance's rhythm accelerates and multiplies in several stages until the ending, which climaxes in a crazy dance ecstasy. Song and voices are those of Marta Kr�sov� and Michal Pavlata, and Marta Jir��kov� performs on synthesizers.

    5 Miroslav Pudl�k Dejte mi pevn� bod (Give Me a Firm Ground)
The reason for the creation of Dejte mi pevn� bod was the composer's many-year dream to search an "unstable" musical space where all tones always slowly fall in a glissando, while their significant harmonic relationships and melodic movement do not change. Pudl�k adds: "New sounds constantly appear in the upper frequency range and mix into slowly the falling harmony. Others slowly disappear in the lowest frequency range and so on. It should suggest a state of dizziness as being in a planetarium."

      6Michal Ko�ut Kometa (Comet)
Expressive capabilities of the voice oscillate between Sprechgesang and song in Kometa, where the voice is technically edited slightly. The accompanied synthesizer part aids in the complement of the text's atmosphere, written by Josef Souchop. The soprano is M�ria Vaniakov�.

      7 Pavel Kopeck� Z�ti�� s pierotem (Still Life with Pierot)
It is not necessary to describe Pierot in this composition, which is for piano and accompanying electronic medium, but only add a few words about its form and compositional material. The composition is in three movements, with the solo keyboard instrument dominating as in chamber music. Kopeck� combined acoustic and electroacoustic sounds in a traditional, dramatic form. V�ra Kopeck� performs the piano.
